Print a 584 page book with 21 custom tabs

Oct 13, 2011

The client needed a high quality book that could be handed out and deliver high quality images and content. The book had 21 custom tabs dictating the need for a significant amount of handwork. The customer needed over 10,000 copies and to press check the work as it was completed. From start to finish over 250,000 tabs were printed and die-cut in-house. This book represents a great team effort of Carter Printing. The initial engineering along with design production was reviewed and press runs were determined. Our large 56″ press ran the printed pages, and the 40″ press ran the 21 custom tabs. Then each printed tab sheet was die-cut in-house and our bindery department plastic coil bound each book with 595 pages of content with a fold-out page and a cover sheets.
